  Cable Ratio Explained:

  • The cable ratio on a Smith machine functional trainer refers to the relationship between the weight stack and the resistance applied to the exercise movement. For example, a 2:1 ratio means that the weight stack is divided in half, so you are effectively lifting half the actual weight selected on the stack. In a 1:1 ratio, the weight stack provides the actual weight you lift.

  • The 90XPRO Functional Trainer: Combining Both Ratios: The 90xPRO Functional Trainer stands out as the best option due to its unique ability to combine both cable ratios (2:1 and 1:1) in a single machine. This versatility allows users of all fitness levels to benefit from the equipment without the need for multiple machines.

Benefits of the 90XPRO Functional Trainer:

    1. 1. Adaptable for All Fitness Levels: Beginners can take advantage of the 2:1 cable ratio to ease into strength training, while advanced users can challenge themselves with the 1:1 ratio.
       2. Progressive Resistance: As users gain strength and confidence, they can gradually shift from the 2:1 ratio to the 1:1 ratio, ensuring continuous progress in their fitness journey.

    1. Versatility: The machine caters to a wide range of exercises, from basic movements for beginners to complex, heavy lifts for advanced users.
    2. Space and Cost-Efficient: Having both ratios in one machine saves space and reduces the need for multiple machines, making it more cost-effective for gym owners and home users.

In conclusion, the 90XPRO Functional Trainer is an excellent choice for fitness enthusiasts and gym owners looking for a versatile and efficient piece of equipment. It provides the benefits of both 2:1 and 1:1 cable ratios, accommodating users of different fitness levels and allowing them to progress at their own pace.
