The Watts based programme requires the user to enter how many watts (or units of power) they would like to generate constantly during the program. The exciting thing about this is that the machine won't let you cheat. For example: If you enter in 75 Watts of power for your program, the system will ensure you maintain 75 Watts of power, by automatically adjusting the tension when needed. If you are training quite fast and generating the 75 watts of power the system will only apply a light amount of tension, but If you start to slacken off and slow down the computer will increase the tension - making it harder to train, but ensuring the 75 watts are maintained.
The Watts based programs can be tailored to suit each individuals training requirements .
